Something went wrong during the Bit locker encryption.

use manage-bde -status to find out as mentioned below

Here is the result of the command

Yes, you a missing storage and bitlocker is not the problem.

 

Please bring intel's rapid storage application from the windows search bar and see if disk storage was allocated for some purpose you do not want.

 

Was a huge amount of disk space allocate for use as optane?

Was space assigned for RAID but not used?

 

One of my kids once was sold a fake 512gb SSD.  It reported 512gb size but would never held more than 64.  It was sold by a street vendor in Hong Kong.

Using the windows command prompt, please run the following command and report back what it reveals if you want help.


wmic diskdrive get model, size, mediaType, status


for example

If you have powershell then run it from the administrators command prompt to get better information:


powershell Get-PhysicalDisk

Sorry for the late reply, here are the results of the two commands

Also I don't think it is a fake SSD because I bought it of HP on Amazon
