@Lluvia,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Two questions for you:

1.) What is the part number of your power supply?

2.) What graphics card are you trying to make work?

Kind Regards,

havent check the psu part number
but i only have gtx 1050ti single fan
the problem is this when i open my pc without gpu it works perfectly fine

but when i plug the GPU i have plenty of problem

1. Its not booting to my GPU

2. the system unit is working with one beep but no display specially on boot (with GPU)

3. it displays when i plug the VGA cord to my mobo IO

4. it can detect the GPU as per device manager

5. when i try to restart or simply open the pc with the GPU plugged in it took so long to boot (btw it skips the boot process and jumps to startup but still wont boot with the gpu cable only on mobo VGA cable)

@Lluvia,

Thank you, I don't think that your power supply is the limiting factor here: since a GTX 1050 Ti only has a 75-watt TDP and doesn't require any PCIe power cable(s), I would suspect that the problem you are experiencing is likely the graphics card itself.  If possible, install a different graphics card and see what happens.

In the meanwhile, try installing this specific GTX 1050 Ti driver and see if it makes a difference: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/results/210517/.

I tried changing it to another 1050ti gpu the first one is innod gtx 1050ti  then i tried my msi gtx 1050ti the problem is still the same. isnt it because of the mother board ? like its restricting it somehow ? i also tried to change monitor and cables still same problem occurs

@Lluvia,

Try the driver I suggested.

An HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Tower runs a GTX 1050 Ti just fine, like this HP EliteDesk 800 G4 TWR User shows: HP EliteDesk 800 G4 TWR Performance Results - UserBenchmark.

I also tried installing the driver from the auto update of windows and the driver from the website but still no chance at all do you think it's the motherboard itself?
