I have a HP 500-023w, both front usb ports are damaged. Can they be replaced reasonably priced? They were damaged by a bent headphone jack being inserted into them. Over time, one is too loose to use at all, the other I cannot insert any usb jack into it. Can the USB ports be replaced or would I need to replace the entire motherboard. Could I ask approximate cost of each? Thank you.

The front USB ports part number is 713240-003. You can search the web for a replacement. Examples:
https://www.amazon.com/HP-Front-2USB30-Audio-713240-003/dp/B01DCHJEKY
https://www.ebay.com/c/13018430750
The USB module is mounted into the front of the case. Removing side panel once you have the side panel off, depending on the side that was removed, look at this removing front panel.
