I have a HP Prodesk 600 G1 SFF with Motherboard HP 18E7 and would like to find out if supports a SSD as currently has a HDD

Hi:

 

Yes, you can replace the 3.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.

 

You will need a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter to fit the smaller size SSD where the 3.5" drive is now.

 

This one is the same size as a 3.5" drive, and you mount the smaller SSD inside the opening.

I have two of these.  Works great.
