@Leorn,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Providing my reference sources first: your HP Pavilion 590-p0103wb (2HL03AA) according to: https://usermanual.wiki/m/9a3240deb0ffe803426bf48532c3290cf34ae48f3e0ed8bfd320d39a8cd5f8fc.pdf, and: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=2HL03AA&searchby=product, is fitted with a 180-watt power supply with HP p/n: L08660-800 ("Power Supply - GNRC PSU 180W Entl18 SFF FR Gold") and the Sunflower motherboard (SSID: 8433).

To cut to the chase, @DGroves comes to the rescue, even five (5) years later: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Want-to-add-gpu-but-not-sure-wh....

There is a 400-watt power supply that is compatibel/made for your Sunflower motherboard: HP p/n: L04618-800 ("Power Supply - GNRC PSU 400W SFF Entl FR"), which you can purchase via eBay here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=hp+L04618-800&_sacat=0&LH_PrefLoc=2&rt=nc&LH_BIN=1.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

@Leorn,

It was my pleasure to assist.

Please follow up once/if you got your 400-watt L04618-800 power supply installed, and how it worked out for you.

Kind Regards,
