HP Z2 Tower G4 Base Model Workstation

I have a z2 workstation tower PC. I have an atx PSU I wish to install, but I need a 24 pin to 4 pin power cable adapter. I cannot seem to find the cable I seek. Please help.

@Consumer86,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

There is an HP 650-watt power supply for your HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation, with p/n: L57253-003 / L36049-003, which is equipped with two 6+2-pin PCIe power cables:

Point is, there are currently no ATX power adapter cables made for this desktop. I looked into that, because an HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation was twice a legacy upgrade project for me: Solved: Upgrading an HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation Part II - HP Support Community - 8909724.  With a 650-watt power supply, you could power high-end graphics cards such as an RTX 4070, such as this model powered by a single 8-pin power cable, or an RTX 4070 Super, like this model.

If you don't have a 650-watt power supply, you can purchase one via an eBay Seller or AliExpress.

Kind Regards,
