I have an HP Pavilion, is the Active Stylus Model name SPEN-ASU-01 compatible with this laptop?

I have an HP Pavilion laptop, I recently purchased an Active Stylus model name SPEN-ASU-01.  I placed the AAAA battery into the Stylus and tried it on the laptop screen surface.  It does not do anything.  Is this stylus compatible with the HP Pavilion?

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pavilion 15.6 Inch Laptop PC.

I have a few recommendations 

• The HP® HP1MR94AA digital stylus pen in silver color, is compatible with HP Pavilion laptop models.
• The HP Stylus Pen is compatible with laptops or devices that use Windows Ink and Microsoft pen protocol (MPP), which are usually only present in HP devices.
