Greetings @Cameron9800
Welcome to the HP Forum.
I would like to assist but it is getting very difficult to find general PC specs and MB specs for some HP PCs lately.
All I can say is the MB has a AM4 socket. AM4 sockets can support many Ryzen processors.
But, your CPU upgrade options are limited to the CPU microcode IDs HP installed and tested at the factory. Your MB is probably limited to 65 watt TDP CPUs. But the BIOS may not see a 65 watt TDP Ryzen X CPU.
You can get MB info using CPU-Z. This will not tell you HP specific CPU upgrade support.
HP used to list MB CPU upgrade options for all PCs but I can't find any info for your PC. I can't even say what MB is installed in your PC.
Check all product specs options at this HP Site. Not much to see here which would help with possible CPU upgrades.
Maybe a different Forum member has additional info.
