I'm looking to upgrade this HP® EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower, 8GB RAM, 320GB HDD, Windows 10 desktop computer to a more attractive type of gaming computer/streaming computer. Now I will admit I'm a total novice when it comes to anything computer related. Sorry it's just not my field of concentration, so pls Gentlemen go easy on me, I'll appreciate it. But I have the ability to learn. I purchased this computer for my son for Christmas and promising him the upgrade since then, hence why I'm here. What I'm interested in is a budget friendly part list that would ultimately lead me to a finished product. Any opinions will help and I promise you will be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Juju

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Yes, I could assist you with this exciting project!
1.) Assuming you got one 8GB RAM stick installed (please verify), you want at least another 8GB RAM stick, preferably an identical RAM stick. If you could read the label on this RAM stick, I could find you the best purchase option.
2.) You want to replace the 320GB HDD with an SSD (solid state drive). This means you'll have to clone this drive to the SSD, but we can discuss that in a later post. For gaming purposes, I would recommend a 1TB SSD, such as this purchase option: https://www.amazon.com/PNY-CS900-Internal-Solid-State/dp/B07Y5VDNT9/ref=sr_1_17_sspa?crid=21J2TN55HA....
3.) Depending on what processor you got, you may want to consider upgrading your processor for gaming purposes. In order to ascertain if this is necessary, this is what I would like you to do:
A.) Open Task Manager
B.) Select the Performance tab
C.) Select CPU
D.) Look for the Processor name and speed
E.) Provide that information.
4.) What is your budget for a graphics card, and what games would be played on it? An HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower is powered by a 320-watt power supply, which gives you some good GPU options, such as this purchase option: https://www.amazon.com/ZER-LON-GTX-1050-Ti-7680x4320/dp/B09KTMN3PK/ref=sr_1_4?crid=16NKDWCE76L85&dib....

OK, in your first post, you mentioned that you got an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower, but in your latest post it is an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF. Likewise, in your first post you mentioned this PC was fitted with 8GB of RAM, but according to your latest information the 'installed Physical Memory (RAM)' is only 4GB.
In addition, your last post lacks information I asked for (specifically the BaseBoard Product ID), and the System SKU (K9744UC#ABA) is invalid, according to HP PartSurfer.
Can't you just provide a screenshot of the System information, like so:
Before I go on assisting you, please double-check your information, and explain the discrepancies. Are we talking about a Tower, or an SFF, for example.
Kind Regards,

Ok pls keep in my I'm basically ignorant when it comes to knowing anything regarding the insides ect of a computer. The only parts I'm familiar with is the keyboard, monitor, tower, and plug. Other than that I'm not that bright. My apologies again.

Unfortunately, your pictures didn't quite make it:
In any regards, whether you got a Tower or an SFF, you should at least install 2x8GB DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 1600 MHz, 240-pin RAM sticks, such as this quality/affordable dual-rank (2Rx8) 2x8GB RAM kit sold by Amazon for just $15.99: https://www.amazon.com/Timetec-1600MHz-PC3L-12800-Unbuffered-Desktop/dp/B00IV19HZE/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?c..., and I would recommend upgrading your processor from an i5-4590 to an i7-4790. You can purchase one of these processors online, such as via this trusted eBay Seller for just $34: https://www.ebay.com/itm/186928940425?_skw=i7-4790&epid=20066941741&itmmeta=01JK9S6885HVAWR18BFB0SS3....
Consider this your first upgrade expenditures.
