I'm building a gaming pc and am installing a PCIe NVMe M.2 500 gb SSD also a 1tb SATA HDD. for optimization where should I put my Win 10 Home Operating System? In other words, how should I structure this regarding the download of games and anything else you can suggest? ...such as partitioning if you think that it's necessary.

I'l be rocking a: Gigabyte B450 MB;  Rysen 5 1600 CPU, 32 gb  ddr4 - 3000 - latency 16 ; MSI GeForce GTX 1060 (6 gb) GPU; Mod X Stream-Pro 700 W (80 Plus)

This is probably the middle of the road and I want to optimize it the best that it can be.  It's to be a Christmas gift for my grandson.
