Hi @sebastian1126

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering a message indicating that there's a compatibility issue between Roblox and your system, specifically with the 16-bit application error. This issue can be tricky, but let’s go through a few steps to try to fix it:

1. Ensure Roblox is Running on 64-bit Mode

Since the error mentions a 64-bit compatibility issue, it's important to check that Roblox is running in the correct 64-bit version. Here's how you can check and switch to the 64-bit version if needed:

  • Step 1: Open Roblox Studio (if it’s installed) or try launching the Roblox game again.
  • Step 2: Right-click on the Roblox Player shortcut or Roblox app icon.
  • Step 3: Click Properties, then go to the Compatibility tab.
  • Step 4: Ensure that the "Run this program in compatibility mode" option is unchecked.
  • If the box is checked, uncheck it and click Apply and OK.

Additionally, if you're playing Roblox from a browser, make sure that your browser is up-to-date, as older browsers may have compatibility issues.

2. Check for Roblox Updates

It's possible that Roblox pushed an update recently, which might have caused the issue. Here's how to ensure your Roblox client is up to date:

  • Step 1: Open Roblox Studio (or any Roblox app you use).
  • Step 2: Click on the gear icon in the top right corner, and select Settings.
  • Step 3: In the settings menu, make sure the "Automatically update Roblox" option is enabled.
  • If there's an update pending, it will auto-download once enabled.

3. Reinstall Roblox

If your Roblox client is corrupted or there's a conflict with your system, reinstalling can fix this issue:

  • Step 1: Open Settings on your PC and go to Apps.
  • Step 2: Find Roblox in the list and click Uninstall.
  • Step 3: After uninstalling, go to the official Roblox website and download the latest version of Roblox.

4. Enable 64-bit Version for Roblox (Manually)

If you are using Windows and have a 64-bit version of Windows but Roblox is still trying to run in 32-bit mode, try manually enabling the 64-bit version:

  • Step 1: Go to the Roblox folder in your Program Files.
  • Step 2: Look for a folder named something like "RobloxPlayerLauncher" and see if there are two versions (32-bit and 64-bit).
  • Step 3: Launch the 64-bit version if you see it.

5. Check Your Windows Version

Make sure your system is running a 64-bit version of Windows:

  • Step 1: Open Settings on your computer.
  • Step 2: Go to System > About.
  • Step 3: Under System type, ensure it says 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.

If your system is 32-bit, that could explain the compatibility error when trying to run 64-bit Roblox. You may need to upgrade your system to a 64-bit version of Windows.

6. Update Graphics Drivers

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
