Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so i've had this pc for a while and have got a new power supply being the l05757-800, and i bought a nvidia GTX 1660 thinking they would both work. However after about 2 or 3 months the pc kept turning off randomly, i assume this is because the power supply was faulty. Before i buy another of the same power supply does anyone know if  im actually doing the right thing, or are these parts not really compatible with my pc?

The 500 watt supply is more than adequate for the GTX-1660.  There is some other problem.

A recent bios was released, july 2022

Make sure you use an air duster periodically for the video card and the motherboard

An NVidia game ready driver for GTX-1660 was released today 10/12/2022

https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/193713/en-us/

Also check the forum or community (stream?) for the game as patches are released occasionally.

sorry, but if the computer has random shutdown issues, the bios update could go very wrong..
If the power supply has been replaced, with a new video card
I will try first, without the video card..
and if not better with the original power supply, hoping that it has been preserved
