I have been trying to upgrade the BIOS on my HP Compaq Elite 8300 Convertible Minitower PC and it will not let me get pas v2.90 because the higher ones require me to have v2.99 and the download is not there

Here is the support page listing the BIOS unpates

For the 2.99 version

SP73099.exe

(16.1 MB)

Customers MUST flash this BIOS first, before flashing to the v03.xx versions.

I wish i understood why people looking for a previous version of a bios simply REFUSE TO CLICK ON THE "PREVIOUS RELEASES" button that is posted in plain sight, ...common there are three boxes in plain sight for you to choose from

it appears that they can only see the download button on the far right....why? maybe hp needs to move this download button right above the three on the left side?
