You will need an older type of display with a VGA input since your OEM HP Pavilion Slimline S5000 comes from about the year 2000.
If your PC has a video card, it would help if you provided an image of the rear of the PC as you may have more options.
Adding a video card at this point will be a bit of a trick.
Most more modern cards do not have the same type of legacy video Bios that is compatible with your HP Pavilion Slimline S5000 series PC BIOS.
For GPU compatibility with your PC an upgraded card with DVI output will need to have a physical switch on it for legacy BIOS/UEFI BIOS. Otherwise, the chances that the PC will boot are very slim.
You will have the best success with an NVIDIA PCIe GPU.
