I need to upgrade my OS to Windows 11, but my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 TWR is not compatible for the upgrade. So after a lot or research, contacting Microsoft and HP support, it seems that I need to replace the motherboard in order to have the TPM 2.0 in Bios.
The processor is: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3600 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date: HP P01 Ver. 02.15, 1/30/2018
SMBIOS Version: 3.0
Embedded Controller: Version 6.33
BIOS Mode: UEFI
BaseBoard Manufacturer: HP
BaseBoard Product: 8298
BaseBoard Version: KBC Version 06.21
Platform Role: Desktop

You're better off buying an off lease 800 G4 tower than trying to upgrade yours.
Beside the 800 G4 motherboard, you would also need an 8th gen core processor so that meets Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements so the TPM 1.2 device not being updated to 2.0 would not be enough.
You would also need to install DDR4-2666 MHz memory if your PC still has the DDR4-2400 MHz memory it came with.
Your PC supports a TPM firmware upgrade to 2.0 because I did that on my 800 G3 and installed W11 on it as it was using one of the many W11 hardware check bypass methods out there to do so.
You don't even need to update the TPM firmware to 2.0 in order to install W11 on your PC.
Unfortunately, HP has removed the link for the TPM update to 2.0 instructions, but you should be able to do so with the info that I attached in a Word document below and these info and exe files.
Here are the links to the TPM update info and exe files:

Once again, you can easily update your PC to W11 as is, by watching this video:
