I switched the pc off yesterday morning. Last night it would not switch on. Power LED is off when pressing the power button, but the HD LED does Flicker when i press the power button. Can you please provide me with a solution.

"Can you please provide me with a solution"

Sorry, but whenever I see that I think some one is asking for a magic solution to what is probably a complex issue.

Your desktop PC could have a bad PSU, a failed component on a power rail circuit, a failed processor, a failed memory module.

Try a reset.

Unplug the power cord from the house mains and then push and hold in the power button for at least 15 seconds.

After that you can plug it back in and try powering it back on.

Do you live in a place where power surges are common?

It is not the PSU. I replaced that. It is maybe a component. Thank you for your reply. I just thought maybe you could tell ne something i did not consider. Thank you very much.

We do have alot if loadshedding. Maybe that affected the components on the Motherboard.

what do you mean by loadshedding?
Do you mean removing all externally connected peripheral devices?

Are you seeing any LEDs light  up?

Have you tried removing all memory sticks and then installing in just one in the slot closest to the processor?

When you say you have done some troubleshooting, can you be more specific?

If you have a video card, have you removed it and instead used  the video port at the backplane of the PC?

The led on the Motherboard is on when the power cable is connected. When pressing the power button then the right LED light ("HD" description on motherboard) is on as long as I press the power button, but goes off when I release it. I did remove the Graphic card and tried powering on but it persists on not powering on. It could be that the power button is damaged but i cant test that as the pc do not have inputs for external power buttons.

We are not getting anywhere if you do not try the suggestions that I made in my previous post, specifically my suggestion about the memory module(s).

BTW, power buttons do not often fail.

A failed memory module can easily cause the PC to not boot up.

You can disconnect the hard disk to see what effect that has.  Post what  error message results from that.
