Hi,
So I've been looking to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB DDR4 3200mhz and currently have Kingston Fury 3200mhz ram with this text: 8gb 1Rx8 XMP4 - 3200 - UA2 - 11 and HP32D4U8S8ME-8XR. When searching on this I can't verify anything on Kingstons website since it doesn't correspond to any of their products, so it's impossible to know exactly which ram I have and if they are right now running in XMP profile or not.
I don't have any XMP setting in bios either so I don't know if I need to buy ram where the standard JEDEC speed is 3200mhz or if it's actually automatically activated XMP profile.
I called HP Store and they just linked me SO-DIMM, so they obviously didn't know..
Anybody here who can help? guess I should contact kingston.
Thank you!

@osterlichtenich -- one good website for adding RAM is: www.crucial.com
Enter details about your computer, and it will display both the maximum RAM allowed on your computer, and the part-numbers of RAM (sold by CRUCIAL) that are known to be compatible with your computer's motherboard.

@osterlichtenich -- my PC isn't listed when I look manually or found when I use the exe tool.
Exactly what are you entering? A non-helpful phrase is "GIGO" (Garbage In, Garbage Out).
What identification for model-number is either on the label on the side/back of your desktop computer, or on the bottom of your laptop computer, or on a label underneath the removable battery on your laptop?
There should be a category, such as "HP Envy", and a product-ID, and a serial-number.
Do not post your serial-number in your reply.

Thanks! Looking through the information it seems like the most suitable ram for me to buy would be:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C4VHQV2/?language=en_US&cstrackid=baead7f8-845c-4ebf-be05-3da6f37af0f0&...
It has same frequency and same CL. From what I can see it seems like it's 3200 out of the box, but I'm not certain.
Looking at crucials site: https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4dfra32a
I'm going to contact Crucial and ask.

I ended up buying those I linked which I confirmed is 3200mhz out of the box without xmp:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C4VHQV2/?language=en_US&cstrackid=baead7f8-845c-4ebf-be05-3da6f37af0f0&...
Since XMP profile isn't accessable 3200mhz and cl22 is the fastest possible combination. Paying more for ram which has greater CL or speed with an XMP profile doesn't make sense so this seems to be the best option.
