i just want to know if its compatible because the motherboard says it is compatible with the I9-12900k but every time I put it in the I9 all it does is turn on but does not display anything on my monitors.

Thank you. but I have figured that the actual motherboard in my case is a 8918 and not a 8917. Turns out that the motherboard does not support it at all because of the Watt usage on the cpu. The only i9 it takes is the I9-12900f since it is a 65w. Thank you for at least replying and attempting to help me

Welcome to the HP Forum.
The BlizzardOC MB, MB SSID 8917, in your link should support a 12900K using the factory BIOS. Have you checked for a BIOS update for the MB?
The 12900K may have a problem if the 12400F subsequently works which indicates you have not damaged CPU socket pins.
The Blizzard MB, MB SSID 8918 might not see the 12900K CPU.
You either have a bad CPU or the MB's BIOS can't detect the 12900K.
