Yo! I want to upgrade my graphics card and found a good deal for an ASUS ROG STRIX Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Strix 8GB OC OVP. I got no clue though if it would fit into my PC or if I can even install a new graphics card into my PC. I would be really grateful if someone who knows their stuff could tell me if the graphics card can fit into my PC. If additional information is required I will try to provide it on request. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Your HP Desktop - M01-F0235ng is fitted either with an Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643) or with a Milton motherboard (SSID: 86E9) and is either fitted with a 180-watt power supply with p/n: L08660-800 or a 310-watt power supply with p/n: L64961-800 -please verify and report back.
It looks like that an ASUS ROG STRIX Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Strix 8GB OC OVP is a triple fan length graphics card, which will most likely not fit in your case. In addition, this 215-watt TDP card requires at least a 600-watt power supply equipped with two 8-pin PCIe power cables, which is not available for your desktop.
There is a compatible 400-watt power supply available for your PC with p/n: L04618-800 / 942332-001, and a 500-watt power supply, with p/n: L05757-800. Both power supplies are available online, such as eBay and Amazon.
Personally, I would recommend that instead of an RTX 2080, to get a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060, powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this Amazon-Germany purchase example: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/GeForce-DisplayPort-Design-Auto-Extreme-Technology/dp/B086ZTB81P/ref=sr_1....
An RTX 4060 is identical in graphics performance compared with an RTX 2080: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-4060-vs-Nvidia-RTX-2080/4150vs4026.
This low-TDP card (115-watt) can be powered by the aforementioned 400-watt power supply, which can also be purchased via Amazon-Germany: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/942332-001-Compatible-PA-3401-1HA-L04618-400-3401-2HA/dp/B0CLV2J12V/ref=s....
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
