I bought a new HP TP01-2019 desktop and I want to move the HP DU-8A6SH optical drive over from my old HP Envy 750-209 desktop. The new HP has a breakaway panel on the front and looks to have a "slide-in" tray for the drive, so I think that it will fit. I can plug in the SATA cable from the motherboard to the drive so that seems easy, but I'm not too sure about the power. In the old PC the power cables (two) came out of a metal box, so I couldn't see where to plug it in with the new PC's board. I have a power cable that fits the drive, with a four pin connector on the other end (uploaded drive picture). It looks like it would just plug into the white four pin connector on the new PC board next to the SATA plug (uploaded board picture), but I don't want to make a mistake and fry the motherboard or something. I'm not a super technical guy, but based on the two pictures, does that sound right?DU-8A6SH optical drive and cable

What do you think? Thanks.

Hi,
In that second image it would have helped if you had disconnected the connector so the connection would be visible.
Can you do that and provide the new image?

The second picture showing the internals of the PC? That cable that's plugged in is just the other SATA connector for the hard drive. On the first picture showing the drive itself, there are two connectors: the "open" one on the right which is for the SATA cable (which I will plug into the white SATA connector in the internals image) and the four pin connected one on the left, which I believe/assume is for power. This is the issue, as there was a small (power?) cable running to it from an enclosed metal (power distribution?) box in my old PC, so I'm not too sure where to plug this four pin connector into in my new PC.
Is this "non-SATA" four pin connector a smaller version of the normal power cable? Does it get plugged into the four pin receptacle on the board next to to the SATA receptacle? I want to be sure it will work in my new PC before I start opening up the optical drive access.
