I want to know that if my laptop(HP 15s-dy3001TU) has nvme ssd slot and of how much capacity.

The main problem is that i know that it has ssd slot but i don't know that if it is sata slot or nvme slot.

Also if it has nvme slot then tell me how much capacity and of which generation of nvme ssd is supported.

Since notebook processors are integral parts of the motherboard, you can look up your processor specs on the applicable AMD or Intel website and it will tell you what PCIe generation the processor and chipset is.

According to the processor specs page for your model notebook, the chipset PCIe Generation is 3.0.

As far as how large a capacity NVMe SSD is supported, HP only has the maintenance and service guide for the older 15-dy0xxx model series available.

According to chapter 1 of that manual, HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 512 GB.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't install a 1 TB NVMe SSD, but that is up to you.
