I am trying to upgrade my s5-1010.  I want to put a new motherboard, Processor, memory and video in it.  Any recommendations for a board that will fit right and allow me to move up to i7/9 with 32 GB RAM?

@Headruch , welcome to the forum.

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will give you an idea of what you need to consider:  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Moving-HP-Motherboard-to-a-new-gaming-case/ta-p/...

The article discusses moving your motherboard to a new case, but it has the same problems as upgrading the motherboard.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend upgrading your computer using the case.  Slimline cases are very small.  When you add a high-powered processor (i7-9), memory and video card, you are going to be creating a lot of HEAT.  The small case doesn't allow for enough airflow to cool the components adequately.  I don't want you to spend a lot of money, only to find that you can't use the computer.

I have a computer with the components that you mention (see my Custom build below).  I can tell you that it has 3x140mm fans and 4x120mm fans to keep it cool while gaming.
