I want to update BIOS of HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF model with version 00.02.45 Rev.A.
The BIOS version present currently is Ver. 02.16.
Is it possible to directly update the version from 2.16 to 2.45 ?

Hi:
When I read all of the release notes for the previous BIOS updates, there isn't anything that indicates on any of them that you must update to that version first before proceeding to update the BIOS in the future, so you should be fine with going from 2.16 > 2.45.
Click to expand the Previous Versions section and you can see all of the release notes for the previous versions.

I looked at the BIOS history of 600 G3
Reading the release history, there is no indication of any problem updating to any version from 2.16. Usually there is a warning that once updated the bios cannot be restored but not even that warning is listed.
There is a newer bios version, 2.46 available. There is always a risk updating any bios. Generally, one should update only if there is a specific need to do so.
If you are using SCCM to update you might want to read the following.

[edit] @Paul_Tikkanen you beat me to it.

Did you carefully read the release notes for every previous BIOS version?
I did not see on any of them where you could not go back to an earlier version, but I recommend you double-check to make sure.
The only thing I saw was on version 2.16 where indicated you have to be present to go from 2.16 to an earlier version to accept the older version--which means you could not go back to an older version remotely.
'NOTE: Due to the security changes in this release, attempts to install older BIOS versions will require the user to be physically present to accept the older version.'
