Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I want to upgrade the CPU on my  HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0450nd  https://support.hp.com/nl-nl/document/c06463131. I have no idea which how to check which ones are possiablee, I tried to google it or find a compatebility checker but can't find one for the HP 8643 Erica motherboard.
My current CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, what are my option for an upgrade?

@noisemagician2 , welcome back to the Community.

 

Here are the Motherboard Specifications for the computer.  If you look at the section titled "Processor upgrade information" there is a list of compatible processors.  The fastest, most powerful is the Ryzen 7 3700X.  It has 8-cores and should work without any changes to the settings.

best processor is

AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, 3,7 GHz basisfrequentie, max. 4,2 GHz burstfrequentie, 4 MB cache, Quad Core (Picasso)
