HP Envy 23 all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to upgrade an HP Envy 23 all-in-one.  It currently has a single 8GB, 1600 mgz sodimm DDR3 chip. The Task Manager itdicates one slot open.  My question is I don't see this chip in searches, so do I need to find an exact match, or can I just order 2 8GB  1600mgz DDR3 chips and repace the old one?

You should just be able to install a compatible 8 GB memory chip in the empty slot.

This one should work:

Crucial RAM 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CL11 Laptop Memory CT102464BF160B at Amazon.com

Paul,

Thank you for your recommendation.  Memory chip was delivered earlier today.  Easy install.  I now have 16GB, total capacity of my computer.
