INITIAL SETUP AND DISPLAY DOSEN'T WORK

HP OMEN 30L DESKTOP GT13-1094
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I received my HP OMEN 30L DESKTOP GT13-1094 today and hooked it up ,but the display doesn't work. What could cause this problem? I've changed HDMI cables, hooked it to different TV's and all say no signal.

Your brand-new HP computer comes with free technical support, via telephone, for a month or two.  Have you tried that service?

 

Have you tried to connect it to a computer monitor with HDMI input?

Such monitors may have multiple inputs: VGA, DVI, and HDMI.

You may need to set the monitor to "listen" to the correct source, given the above 3 options.

 

Same for your TV. You may have to set the TV to "HDMI #2" or "HDMI #3", if the TV usually is set to "HDMI #1" (Input from your cable-TV box).
