HP X2 Detachable 10-P0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We've currently run unable to update the software requirements on this device, we've deleated all unwanted files however we're still unable to do the system update due to lack of storage. We're now attempting to add an external device to allow us to install the updates that are required however we're unsure how to do this. Can anyone make any suggestions to resolve this?

What is your HP X2 Detachable 10-P0xx ? (xx can be from 00 to 99 and model also has 2 alphabetic characters from aa to zz at the end)

For example 10-P036tu  as shown (lucky, this machine has 64GB eMMC):

Anyway, I believe your machine only has 32GB of eMMC storage. Please try

It has 64GB (not 32GB) eMMC storage that means you have plenty of room to upgrade Windows. It has 1 slot of microSD card, please use that slot for 128GB or more (I have not tested with anything over 128GB). I normally buy Samsung :

   http://cplonline.com.au/memory-card/sd-card-micro-sd/samsung-mb-mc128g-micro-sd-evo-128gb-mermory-ca...

Now you can move all user files/data to the microSD card and set it as default user files/data location.

After that, you should have plenty of room to upgrade and remember Empty the Recycle bin.

Regards.
