I am trying to upgrade nvme to a 1tb nvme. I am utilizing a usb to nvme enclosure to copy all my data from my current nvme to the new one but for some reason when i try to initialize the new nvme, i get a virtual disk manager error message stating " the request failed due to a fatal device hardware error", and i also see that disk 1(which would be my new nvme) is showing up as unknown. I have tried everything possible that i was able to find online in terms of resolving this issue, but nothing seems to be working. I also noticed for the new nvme enclosure, under Disk Device Properties, in the events tab that the device settings not migrated with the following information "Device settings for SCSI\Disk&Ven_Best_Buy&Prod_NS-PCNVMEHDE(-C)\7&302ff031&2&000000 were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match." I looked up how to resolve this issue and again nothing seems to be working. All i am wanting to do is upgrade my nvme and i am running into a bunch of issues. Does anyone know how i can upgrade this nvme without dealing with these issue? I figured the enclosure method would be the most straightforward but i guess not. Thank you

What is your enclosure ? Sounds like the enclosure is not compatible with your NVMe drive
Regards.
