Pavilion TG01-1815no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It says on the product page, that this desktop has two M.2 slots - but after having ordered a new WD BLUE SN550 1TB M.2 SSD and opening the desktop, I can't seem to find a second M.2 slot.

Can anyone help me with?

And should it be impossible to add another M2 SSD, can I then add a SATA SSD?

Hi:

I would only be able to answer your first question...

Since your PC already came with a 512 GB NVMe SSD, the M.2 SSD slot is already occupied.

The other M.2 slot is only for wifi and that slot is also occupied by the Realtek wifi card your PC comes with.

The motherboard specs don't provide any info on whether or not it has internal SATA ports for a SATA SSD.

If it does, I imagine you can figure out a way how to mount a 2.5" SSD in there, but you would also need a power source and the data cable.

I was afraid that was the answer.

I can’t figure out if the PCIe x16 is occupied and/or if there is any 3.5” slots where I can fit an SSD. Anyone knows this?
