Thank you for your inquiry. The answer is YES !!😀
1) There are 4 hard drive bays, and the lower 2 drive trays adapt to accept 2.5" drives
2) The motherboard has twin SATA data headers on the edge of the board.
3) Just locate a spare power plug and get a SATA data cable.

Hello
he doesn't have to buy anything!
This pc is a great design!
You just have to use the compartments accessible from above!
We put the hard drive in its location, unless I'm mistaken, there is often the screw kit provided, and we slide it into the compartment
There is nothing to connect it is simply done, the connectors are incorporated directly!

I was only discussing the lower internal drive bays.
Please inspect the unit and report back if the top or bottom actually have existing hard drive trays.
According to this you need the drive tray and SATA data cable.

Hello, I am trying to help my son with his HP Omen desktop model 880-037c
we are trying to add additional hard drive. turns out his computer hard drive are actually inside the tower, not on top as I assumed. So my question is now, which hard drive will fit in the open space on top under the winged covers? Is there a special sized one? Brand?
Thank you all for your help.
Sincerely,

Yes, @wb2001 except that we should not stay on the single solution
The fact is that this pc has two compartments for quick and easy access!
No need to open the pc as shown in the document, no need to plug in anything more!
You can add any Hard Disk in 3.5 format, without the need for additional cables.
I respond knowingly
For example the installation of a WDC WD5000aadS-00s9b0
was made in one of these locations, no problem
We open, the dd goes directly into the compartment as we can see in the image ( 5 ) , and we reclipse ( 6 ) everything then
