I currently have the Pavilion 23 - p114 all-in-one and the hhd hard drive sometimes does not even want to boot up due to hard drive failure (error 3f2). Long story really short...I've narrowed my search down to 2 products...and I just want to know if these will work...
(2) Crucial MX300 2.5" 525GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT525MX300SSD1
Now when I plug the mx300 into the icy dock ... is the mx300 SSD drive compatible with the IcyDock ? The drive is Sata 3 but the Icy Dock doesn't specify if it's for Sata 3 or not? Then another question...can I even run a Sata 3 Ssd in my Pavilion 23-p114 ? Please help as I'm a little confused about this part.
Thanks for any help...
Tom

Your PC will work with a SSD. Third party resellers offer a HP 2.5" tray that fit properly inside the 3.5" hard drive cage. Part number to search on is 751650-001.
