I am wanting to install an additional m2.2280 ssd in my desktop but not sure my motherboard will support it. Please advise

Hello, if I am not telling a mistake, you have already a m.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Your motherboard same a lot of motherboards have only one slot from m.2 SSD, so you can't install a second m.2 SSD:

You can however install a SATA 2.5 inch SSD, you must just maybe buy a SATA cable same this:

Many thanks for the reply, Fanordi, You are right, I already have one m.2 PCIe NVME ssd & did not see another slot with data lanes x4. I like your suggestion of adding a SATA cable & SATA ssd & will pursue that direction. Thanks again. I am new to the PCIE NVME technology.

Thank you very much for my first solution in this Community.
Before buying a SATA cable you can verify if it is included in your PC, and for the SSD I like the Crucial MX500.
