Omen told me I had to install a driver in order to change the lighting on my RAM sticks. I installed the HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 87C3) driver on to my desktop. After installing it, every time I start up my computer everything resets. I get logged out of all my accounts and everything on my pinned taskbar get deleted. I am not sure what this did but it's as if every time I start my PC, I am starting it up for the first time.

@MartiLess -- how old is the disk-drive? It is possible that the disk-drive is "failing", and your "profile" (which identifies what you have pinned) cannot be loaded. So, Windows generates a "temporary profile", which, of course, lacks all your customizations.

hi
If it's just your profile that's damaged, you need to create a new user account
see this, you probably won't need to create the super admin like here
but there are indications to recover the data if possible
