Product: All in one pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've just upgraded to 16gb of RAM but the system info says I've only got 8gb... have I done something wrong?

Is it impossible to guess what model number of HP you have ?  🤔

Did you know that RAM modules are specific to a motherboard series.   You just can not go grab it off the shelf.
