I'm trying to install a Wi-Fi (with Bluetooth) PCIe card. The Wi-Fi card is an MSI Herald-BE Wi-Fi 7 (with Bluetooth 5.4). It came with a cable to power up and enable Bluetooth. The cable supplied is a 9 pin USB (F) to 9 pin USB (F). I couldn't find a 9 pin USB (M) plug on the Z2 G9 mother board. Does anyone have a solution for this problem. I've considered buying a cable with a 9 pin USB (F) on one end (to plug into the Wi-Fi Card) and a USB-A plug on the other end to plug into one of the USB-A connectors on the back of the workstation. So far, I have installed the card and Wi-Fi is working great. I just need to get Bluetooth working.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the advice on enabling the Bluetooth on my Wi-Fi Card. It will be several days before I'm able to work on it again. I did remember seeing a header with a couple more pins than what I needed. I'll let you know what happens.
Thanks,
Rodger

Hi Paul,
I was able to take your advice on enabling Bluetooth on my msi Herald-BE (Wi-Fi Bluetooth Card in a Z2 G9 workstation). After attaching the cable as you described, and loading the drivers, Bluetooth works flawlessly. Thanks for the help.

I had same problem of attaching a 9 pin USB cable coming from WIFI/BT card installed in my HP Elitedesk G6 SFF, to a 9 pin USB "Header" (sometimes referred to as "USB-F").
The solution proposed worked, attaching the 9 pin cable to the connector labeled "SD/MEDIA" . leaving the two end pins unconnected.
