I'm using "HP RAM Module 1 x 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz DDR3-1333/PC3-10600 Registered Internal Memory 604504-B21" RAM, a RAM stick I saw would have come stock with this PC. I currently have Samsung RAM installed(unsure of model, i bought the pc refurb); 4x1gig. Why in the world is it doing this if this module would have been stock? Maybe I misread the manual and inserted them in the wrong order? What even would be the right order? Help would be much appreciated as I'd like to get back to using it, seeing as I've meant to use it for school...

Hi:
If the memory indicates that it is Registered (also called buffered), you don't have the right memory installed.
You need to have non-ECC, unbuffered memory.
The memory also has to be low density.
That PC can take 4 x 4 GB of memory with a 64 bit operating system.
I have this memory in my HP 8000 Elite CMT, which is the upscale model of the HP 6000 Pro. Works just fine.
