Hi everyone. To clarify I own the OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1000i but I installed the latest BIOS update for the OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1000a. It had the same "ROM Family SSID 8876" and I did not realize it was for another model of OMEN.  Before I updated my BIOS I had launched Call Of Duty and it displayed that I need a BIOS update because my TPM firmware version was not 3.92.5.5 like they needed. The current TPM version I have is 3.94.2.5 after downloading BIOS "AMI F.24" . It solved my Call Of Duty error. Except mid-game my system rebooted with critical source "Kernel-Power".  I am assuming it's due to having the incorrect BIOS. Well, I can't find the BIOS I originally had. Will I need a new motherboard/pc to have the TPM AMD 3.92.5.5 Manufacturer version needed for Black Ops 7? Has anyone been able to resolve the same issue? Is it okay to keep a BIOS intended for a different model?

@CherryBlossoms,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

To find the previous BIOS version for your OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1xxx, go to: OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support, locate "HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 8876)" which is BIOS F.24 Rev.A and click on the "+" sign preceding it, then click on the "+" sign by "Previous version", and you'll see seven previous BIOS versions, including F.23 Rev.A.

Kind Regards,
