Pavilion HPE h8-1360t
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm installing a motherboard in a chassis from a HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t. I can identify the power connectors and the SATA connectors, but need to know what the front panel and USB connectors look like so I can get the right connectors attached to the right pins on the motherboard. Any help would be truly appreciated!!

@bobd1830, It's great to hear from you again.

I appreciate your time and patience.

I have checked the records and the Front Panel I/O port has 9-pin connector.

Insert it into likely pairs of pins until the motherboard starts up.

PWR_SW is not polarity sensitive. No harm will come if you pick the wrong pairs.

No others are really that important.

Also, refer the image listed below for more information.

Hope this answers your query!

Hey there! @bobd1830, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you would like to know how front I/O ports on your PC would look like.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

I have checked the records and found a picture of front I/O ports, please find the details below.

If you have 2 USB ports on your PC this is how the front I/O ports would like.

Also, please find the part numbers for the front I/O on your PC.

647115-003    Front I/O - 2USB2.0, Pirates MT

647115-005    Front I/O - 4USB2.0, PIRATES MT

You can purchase the part from HP parts store using this link.

Hope this answers your query!

I hope you have a great day!

I didn't make myself clear. The chassis I am using has a bunch of internal cables with their attached connectors. I can easily make out the SATA power and signal cables and their connectors, the AT power cables-- both the 24-pin and the 4-pin. The other cables with their connectors are more difficult to ID. I think I have made out the audio cable and connector since it is color coded on the connector to match the pin block. But there are two other 9-pin connectors on cables that appear to go to similar places on the front panel: one connector is black and the other connector is white with another two-pin connector on the same cable. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
