Hello,

 

I am trying to activate ReBAR setting for Intel ARC A370 in BIOS.

Here is my BIOS configuration :

BIOS vendor : Insyde

BIOS revision : F.12

Embedded Controller : 45.24

Intel ME : 16.1.27.2176

Intel ISH : 5.4.2.4587

Video BIOS : 20.0.1060

USB Type-C Controller(s) : 03.00

Thunderbolt Controller(s) : 16.0.0.1901

Thunderbolt Retimer : 03.10

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

HP would have to include the Resizable BAR, above 4G decoding option in the BIOS. The PC needs to be running in UEFI mode, CSM would be off.

 

Chances are you don't have it if you can't find it. Check Security Settings and Advanced Settings in the BIOS for this option.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunatelly, option is not available in my BIOS which is rather basic for a high end laptop like this one.

HP customer's support said the feature is not available and they did not know if it will be added in future BIOS update. Though, they told me they will bring up my request; waiting for their answer.

 

I have reached Insyde and Intel manufacturers to get more information on this missing but very important feature. I will stay in touch and post updates here.
