Hello
I do apologize for this inexperience.
When I set up the computer I simply connected the Display Port cable from the computer running it to the one monitor.
That's my desktop. I work mostly in Premiere Pro to do film edits.
I just took a look at the specs:
Integrated: Intel® UHD Graphics 630
Discrete: NVIDIA® Quadro® T1000 (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated)
Evidently I have two graphic cards? If the T1000 had display ports as with the Graphic 630 I would have noticed.
The four port on the T1000 I am unfamiliar with.
If I invested in the Quadro T1000 it may be of a benefit to use this card. If this is the better option between the two cards available what cable do I need to run from T1000 to the stand alone monitor?
And if I may a second question. I need to buy a pci usb card for this Z2. Is there a brand that is better than most.
Thanks for any advice. I do need to be informed.
Gratitude !

Hello
I understand the opposite
You have an integrated card the ports are directly on the motherboard
and you have a graphics card with these own ports
If you can't identify certain video connectors, you may already be connected to the graphics card.
Built-in ports are often concealed
I will check, but if not, you should see that the video card ports, are not in the same place
[edit]
I try to find better
nothing specific, you have the different cards and ports available here
just look at the picture here
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-z2-tower-g5-workstation/34407181/model/38461378/document/c06...
you see that the motherboard is one way, so the video ports are vertical for the motherboard
and those of the graphics card in the other direction, horizontal, in relation to the desktop

you will understand better with this
