Advice on purchase of a new Intel CPU for my HP ENVY Desktop - 750-114 that is windows 11 compatible? That's the only thing that did not pass the Windows 11 test.
OS: Windows 10 Pro V: 19043.1237
CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70
Sys: Mem 12GB
Sys board: 2B47 1.04
Sys BIOS: A0.12
Forgot where I saw once where it lists CPU's for the 2B47 board.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04792282
Its supports
- TDP: Up to 65 W
- Socket type: LGA 1151
- Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:ProcessorTDPIntegrated GraphicsIntel Core i7-6700T (Skylake) 2.8 GHz Quad Core35 WIntel HD Graphics (GT2)Intel Core i7-6700 (Skylake) 3.4 GHz Quad Core65 WIntel HD Graphics (GT2)Intel Core i5-6400T (Skylake) 2.2 GHz Quad Core35 WIntel HD Graphics (GT2)Intel Core i5-6400 (Skylake) 2.7 GHz Quad Core65 WIntel HD Graphics (GT2)Intel Core i3-6100T (Skylake) 3.2 GHz Dual Core35 WIntel HD Graphics 530Intel Core i3-6100 (Skylake) 3.7 GHz Dual Core65 WIntel HD Graphics 530Intel Pentium G4400 (Skylake) 3.3 GHz Dual Core65 WIntel HD Graphics 510Intel Pentium G4400T (Skylake) 2.9 GHz Dual Core35 WIntel HD Graphics 510Intel Celeron G3900 (Skylake) 2.8 GHz Dual Core65 WIntel HD Graphics 510Intel Celeron G3900T (Skylake) 2.6 GHz Dual Core35 WIntel HD Graphics 510
I believe Windows 11 requires Intel CPU from Gen 8 up therefore you can use your machine few more years with Windows 10. Microsoft may change their mind to let Windows 11 to run on older generations.
Regards.
