Product: HP Compaq DC7800 SFF
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) 
Hello friends I have a question I want to update my PC's processor (HP Compaq DC7800 SSF)
My PC has a Core 2 Duo E8300 but I want to change it to Intel Xeon E3110
They have the same TDP and Socket
Do you think it is compatible?

it would be a complete gamble on your part to see if it works.

 

Below is the link to the dc7800 quickspecs.  The supported processors can be found on page 9.

It definitely looks similar to the E8300 (see the specs below), but if your PC's BIOS doesn't have the microcode for the E3110, then it won't work.
