Product: HP Pavilion Power 580-000 Desktop PC series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible to upgrade HP Pavilion 580-009no desktop from intel core i5-7400 (kaby lake) to intel core i7-8700  (coffee lake) ? Can i also install 32GB RAM ?

Hi

 

Sorry, it is not possible to install an i7 8700 that will initialize in your PC's H170 motherboard.

 

The pin count is the same (1151) but Intel modified the chipset.

 

The 8700 only runs on an Intel 300 series chipset.

 

Your PC's motherboard supports up to 16GB of memory.
