Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000i (491A7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought a new SSD for my Victus 15L. Its a Samsung 870 QVO intern SATA 2.5 (1tb)

I installed it with a sata3 cable (I tried all the sata outputs on the motherboard) and sata power as it is supposed to be installed, but it did not show up in the file explorer or in disc management. What Should I do?

Did you initialize the disk and give it a drive letter by using DiskPart?

Since you did not clone the drive or mention installing Windows, I am not surprised that Windows Explorer does not recognize its presence.

That is something you can do with the SSD on a  different desktop PC before connecting it to a SATA connection with power.

Diskpart useage SSD prep from a command line in Windows
