Hi,
while I have the pc shut off, the internal blue/cyan led remains DECORATIVELY illuminated during the night and the pc is in the kids room.
Is there anything I can do about it?

@user43 -- one small square of black-coloured "electrician's tape" can cover that lamp, to block the light.
Or, even better, according to Red Green, use the handyman's secret weapon: duct-tape.
Or, if the computer is truly powered-off, borrow that 24-hour timer that controls your outdoor Xmas lights, and set that timer to NOT supply any power to the computer between 8 PM and 7 AM -- no power reaching the computer means no light from that lamp.

Thanks, but why. Cannot duck tape as it the led is internal and it projects a colour grid on the wall.
Does the CEO of HP like to sleep like that? Why are desktops out of the factory like that?
Ps my Xmas tree timer makes a ticking noise
