Hp 230 wireless

Product: HP 230 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo Set

My keyboard is faulty but I'm unable to contact anyone to support as I'm getting an 'invalid' error when entering my serial number.

I've tried all of your proposed solutions:

  • Manual entry over copy / paste
  • '0' instead of 'O'
  • '1' instead of 'I'
  • Different browser
  • Verifying number on both the product box and product labels
  • Download the HP product detection software

Please skip the back and forth and go directly to getting me in contact with someone to resolve - thanks.

Hi @InvalidMyAss

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like you've already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps, which is frustrating. Since your serial number isn't being recognized, the best course of action is to contact HP support directly.

I'm sending you a private message to guide you on the next steps.

To access it, click the private message icon in the upper-right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your name.

If this resolves your issue, kindly mark this post as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" if it was helpful.

Take care and have a great day!

Your secret response to my 'Invalid Serial Number' query is to input my serial number. What's the real solution?
