Hello Experts,

1. Does anyone know, Is ProOne 400 support NVMe? I know that It support SSD but don't know about the NVMe

2. Can I connect dual Harddrive in my PC? Example: My current HDD and a new SSD?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Dharma Ranjan

Hi:

You would have to specify what generation (G1, G2, G3, G4, G5...) your Pro One 400 PC is.

There are several.

You're very welcome.

Below is the link to the specifications document for the HP ProOne 400 G1 All-in-One Business PC.

It does not have support for any M.2 SSD's NVMe or SATA.

You can replace the existing drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD though.

If your PC comes with a 3.5" mechanical hard drive, you will also need to purchase a 3.5" to 2.5" drive adapter so the smaller SSD fits where the 3.5" drive is now.

I like this adapter because it is the same size as a hard drive and easy to install.

Hi Paul,

It does support 2.5" SSD right? If yes, Can I connect 500gb one?

Hi:

Yes, you can replace the existing mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" 500 GB SATA SSD or even a 1 TB SSD if you want.

The SSD capacities listed in the specs are just what HP offered in the model series.

Hi Paul,

Last question , Can i connect dual Harddrive? my current HDD and SATA SSD at the same time?

HP Recommended

Hi:

The PC only has support for one drive, so you will have to remove the existing hard drive and install the SATA SSD in its place.
