I have a new Prodesk 600 G3 MiniTower. Under the power button and USB slots is a 1.5" x 1/8" slot that is blanked off. Is that slot for an SD card reader, and if so, what is the HP part number for the reader? I have tried unsuccessfully to get the information from the HP Parts Store support team.

Yep, this is what I found out as well for our 600 g3 micro tower. I am completely baffled that HP does not sell this part as an after add on type of thing. It's ridiculous...
I ended up purchasing this:
Sucks because it's not going to utilzie the little SD slot and it takes up an entire 5.25 bay but... I guess it is what it is. HP clearly isn't thinking when it comes to upgradability... When they even market this PC as such. What a joke.
