Sunflower Motherboard (690-0020 System)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello kind strangers.

I was wondering if I would be able to put an SSD into my current motherboard. I don't fully understand how SSDs work or fit into the system but the main question I am asking is: Is it possible to get an SSD into my currrent Sunflower MOBO equipped system?

@MitchellD,

You can either install a 2.5" SSD drive, or an M.2 SSD.   See Crucial page for examples (bottom of page).

Either device works like a hard drive, but has no moving parts. Because you have an existing 1 TB (1000 GB) hard drive, you need to decide what size SSD you will use.   Whatever you decide, the "used" GB's on the original HD must be less than the SSD.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
