Hi:

If the GT1030 works the  gtx 1050ti low profile 4gb should also work, but I cannot confirm that with 100% accuracy.

This video shows it works in the HP 6000 Pro which like the dc7900 has the same processor series and chipset.

It also uses DDR3 memory like my 8000 Elite.

Works with the stock power supply (which you cannot upgrade anyway as it is proprietary).

@Paul_Tikkanen you beat me to it

The 1050ti needs 75 watts and the recommended minimum power supply is 250 watts according to TechPowerUp

You have a proprietary power supply and I suspect it is  not 250 watts.

The following video show a nice upgrade

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyDAVFRJcGI

The author used a q6600 4 core upgrade and it was pointed out the CPU may be too hot for a 240 watt supply.

I would go with a 65 watt from this list

Bios 1.24 release had microcode upgrades for the newest intel processors.  The stystem bios in the above video is v01.16 unless the author upgraded the firmware and did not bother changing the video.
